This policy explains how Caleb Storkey (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and protects your personal data. It applies when you:
We take your privacy seriously. We only collect what we need, we are open about how we use it, and we never sell it.
We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. This means we decide how and why your data is used, and we are responsible for looking after it.
caleb.co.uk is run by Caleb Storkey, an entrepreneur, AI strategist, author and speaker based in Bournemouth, United Kingdom. Caleb also runs The Futureproofers, an AI advisory and training business.
We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) as a data controller. You can check our registration on the ICO public register at ico.org.uk.

When you use the site, we collect basic technical data through cookies and similar technologies. This can include:
Non-essential cookies are only set with your consent. Our cookie policy gives full details.
Sometimes we receive information about you from elsewhere, for example:
We do not knowingly collect special category data, such as information about your health, religion or ethnicity, and we ask you not to share it with us. Our services are aimed at businesses and professionals. They are not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
We use your personal data to:
With your agreement, we may record or transcribe calls and online meetings so we can focus on the conversation and keep an accurate record. We will always tell you at the start if a session is being recorded. You can ask us not to record at any time.
As an AI advisory business, we use carefully chosen AI tools to help us work well. For example, we use them to analyse scorecard answers, draft personalised results, summarise meetings and prepare for calls. We only use providers that commit to protecting your data and that do not use it to train their public models. A person always reviews any advice we give you. We do not make decisions that have a legal or similarly significant effect on you based solely on automated processing.
UK data protection law requires us to have a legal basis for each way we use your data. We rely on the following:
| Legal basis | When we use it |
|---|---|
| Consent | Sending our newsletter and marketing emails to individuals, setting non-essential cookies, and recording calls. You can withdraw consent at any time. |
| Contract | Providing a service you have asked for, delivering a programme you have joined, or taking steps you have asked for before entering into a contract, such as preparing a proposal. |
| Legitimate interests | Running and improving our business, responding to enquiries, preparing for calls, keeping our systems secure, and contacting businesses about relevant services. We always weigh our interests against your rights, and you can object at any time. |
| Legal obligation | Keeping financial and tax records, and responding to lawful requests from authorities. |
We will only send you marketing emails as an individual if you have agreed to receive them, or if you are an existing contact who has bought or enquired about similar services and has not opted out.
We may contact people at businesses about services relevant to their role, as the law allows. Every message includes a simple way to opt out.
Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. You can also email hello@caleb.co.uk at any time to stop all marketing. We will keep a note of your request so that we do not contact you again.
We do not sell your personal data, and we never will.
We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run the business. They process it on our instructions and under a written agreement that requires them to keep it secure. They include providers of:
We may also share data with:
Some of our service providers are based outside the UK, mainly in the United States and the European Economic Area. When your data is transferred outside the UK, we make sure it is protected by one of the following:
You can contact us for more information about these safeguards.
We keep your data only for as long as we need it.
| Type of data | How long we keep it |
|---|---|
| Newsletter and marketing contacts | Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data. We review inactive contacts every two years. |
| Webinar and event registrations | Up to two years after the event, unless you are also a newsletter subscriber or client |
| Scorecard, audit and learning plan answers | Up to two years after you complete them, unless you become a client |
| Enquiries that do not lead to work | Up to two years after our last contact |
| Client records, contracts and invoices | For the length of our work together and six years afterwards, for legal and tax reasons |
| Call recordings and transcripts | Up to 12 months, unless needed for an ongoing project |
| Opt-out and suppression records | For as long as needed to respect your request |
| Analytics and cookie data | As set out in our cookie policy |
When we no longer need your data, we delete it securely or anonymise it so that it can no longer identify you.
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
To use any of these rights, email hello@caleb.co.uk. There is no charge. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act. We will reply within one month. If your request is complex, we may need up to two more months, and we will tell you if so.
We take sensible steps to protect your data, including:
No system is completely secure. However, we work hard to keep the risk low. If a data breach is likely to put your rights at risk, we will tell you and the ICO as the law requires.
The site may link to other websites and services, such as social media platforms, booking tools and partner sites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please read their privacy policies before sharing data with them.
